AIS is proud to announce its very first Student Science Fair, to be held on Wednesday March 21st 2018!
All students in Grades 5-8 are encouraged to participate by preparing a project, based on their own experiment or survey. Students will choose a science-related question, and build their project around this question (please see the Example Science Fair Questions document). On the day of the Science Fair, students present their projects to other students, parents, teachers, and Judges. Awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place winners for each grade.
On this page we have provided resources for your child, and tools to help you support their learning. To register your child for the Science Fair, complete theScience Fair Student Registration form and return it to Ms. Julietta before Thursday March 1st.
AIS is offering a special after school activity, called the "Mentorship Program". Volunteers from the school community will meet with your child to help them produce a unique science project. Mentors will also help students prepare for the Judges. To register your child in the Mentorship Program, complete the Mentorship Program Student Registration form and return it to Ms. Julietta in the Science Lab. The last day of registration is Thursday Jan 25th.
